The Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack has been updated. Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack Version: 26.4 Both ends have 2.5Gbps controllers so the slow down is probably the router.Intel® Network Adapter Driver for Windows® 10 Version: 26.4 My LAN from the NUC through a AT&T router to the NAS is running between 700Mbps and 800Mbps average, up and down. I would appreciate hearing if a fix is found for the Ethernet controller.īy the way, I am measuring LAN speed using Totusoft, Inc software checking between the NUC and a Network attached system. The seller picked up part of the cost of the hub.

The first had exactly the same problem as the second. By the way, this is the second NUC 12 I purchased from the Amazon Seller, after returning the first to them. I like the NUC 12 but was really disappointed about the Ethernet Controller. I now have the monitors connected to the hub with the Ethernet adapter using the other NUC thunderbolt connector for the Ethernet adapter. When I realized I would not have a Ethernet connector for some time, I purchased a Thunderbolt 4 Hub and a Thunderbolt 4 to Ethernet adapter. I had set up the NUC 12 with 2 monitors connected to the NUC via the 2 Thunderbolt 4 connectors. Right now I'm on the Ethernet thru an adapter on one of the Thunderbolt 4 connectors and all works fine. The driver is up to date, the BIOS is up to date, as were they on the old NUC. The new unit has the same problem, the LAN cable plugged into the jack doesn't work and I get the same error message. I then started a return under warranty to Intel, but after finding I would not have my computer for 6 to 10 days, I returned it to Amazon and bought an exact replacement with all new components. I still got the same error message, cable disconnected. I then tried a new cable directly from my router, bypassing the in-the-wall cabling.

The error message has always been a cable is disconnected. I then moved the NUC Ethernet cable to the wall plate that had been feeding the Ethernet Switch. I lost my Ethernet connection on the NUC. The NUC was running Windows 11 Pro.Ībout a week after I bought the NUC, I removed the computer and printer from the switch. I had the NUC connected to an Ethernet switch with another computer and printer also attached. I set it up and all was running well until about 2 weeks ago. I purchased a NUC12WSHi7 from Amazon on 1/28/23.
